2009 Retrospective - March

#1 Grandson reached a big milestone in March. He correctly wrote his name. He was only 4! Color me proud Grandma.

#2 Grandson is and was a tall, skinny kid. He may have seemed tiny but he is only 7 months in the photo (and still bald but you can see the mohawk growing in).

In March Offspring #1 and her family moved from the "Chicken Coop" in the country to the big city. It was both sad and exciting. All the family gathered to help move.

It was all about keeping warm for #2 Grandson.

This is the last picture I took of the "Chicken Coop." Goodbye to country living (of course Extremo and I only visited, but it was very nice up in the hills of Kelso.)

Hello to city living! Lots of friends showed up to help move into the new house. It wasn't until later we figured out the heater wasn't working and that's why it was so cold inside! See all the jackets and sweatshirts? Don't look to closely at the breastfeeding mommy.

March is also birthday time for the younger women in the family. Offspring #1, M (in Iowa), and my niece all celebrate in March. We used to have fun celebrating together before everyone shuffled and moved. M and #1 Grandson sent a nice photo on her birthday.

Extremo did some work for "Stuff" a local shop that... does... ya' know I don't know exactly what they do, sort of like a pawn shop I guess. He does great work for them. This window made him especially proud.

Extremo had a show opening in Los Angeles in early April so we had been planning to head down when we found out that my aunt had passed away. We were close and the whole family was gathering so we left a little early to take part. Offspring #1 and her son #2 Grandson traveled with us. Here he is at the hotel showing his Grandpa Extremo who's boss.

It was nice traveling weather and we were all looking forward to seeing family.

#2 Grandson was teething and found that his rubber shoes made a good chew toy. I just bought them because I thought they were cute!

Lots happened in March, but April, May, June & July were gunna be crazy!
