Hanging out on the rez has a decidely different air to it. When I am home on the rez it is peaceful and slow and I realize just how tired I am. I nap alot and enjoy cool breezes. I watch old movies and cartoons. Because on the rez, this is how we roll...

There is nothing better than sitting around the kitchen table and entertaining ourselves with newspapers, photo albums, lunch or just looking through the treasure.

We go to town just to walk around and see what's going on at the thrift store!

We drive around looking for something to do.

We take pictures of ourselves.

We watch the nieces and nephews grow from little sprouts to beautiful young men and women.

This is how a baby rolls on the rez. Ahhhh... naked, diapers, and a popsicle. Nuthin better.

Music and family make rez life fun and easy.

Huggin the grandbabies is what life is all about. Getting hugs from the grandma is sublime.

Brothers hugging sisters.

And sitting around the table.

Love from the Grandma.

Meeting a new cousin and becoming fast friends sharing a juice box experience.

They may seem like big boys in the house but outside they are just a couple a sweet babies in the big world.

Exploring the rez with a good bud.

Sitting outside in the carport. Communal living at it's reservation finest.

But the days wind down and it always becomes time to leave.

Goodbyes in the cool morning air.

And a final fond farewell from the Uncle.
